#AreYouReadyToRun?
The Moore County Zombie Run is a Zombie themed survival run in Southern Pines, North Carolina. Runners will start with a set of flags around their waist. The goal is to survive the run with at least one of your flags remaining. Sounds easy right? Not so fast. It wouldn't be much of a Zombie Run without Zombies. It seems the area has been overrun with the undead and their goal is to feast on your brains.... or flags.
Last year, 148 Runners tested themselves against the zombie horde. 122 survived. Think you could survive? You'll have your chance.... next year.
You should start training now.

Did You Know?
A parasitic fungus, a species of Ophiocordyceps, effectively turns ants into zombies. A recent study found that the fungus can synchronize several ants to bite down simultaneously on the underside of a leaf and then die. The fungus then sprouts through the dead ants’ bodies.
